   A New Challenge of Sakura Corporation in 2015

Sakura Corporation continues its challenging/growing activities for the last 15 years since its start to currently have significant numbers of Distributors and Customers in global market places.

Such global business contacts are classified into three major categories of
1) Sakura Official Distributors
2) Sakura Spot Buyers
3) OEM Buyers
Needless to say, but all names being listed as existing customers on the list are our valuable assets through our business operations and, needless to say it again here, we will keep much closer business communications continuously with you all as we have done so far.

By this writing, however, we are to point out one area being of slower than our expectation up to now, which is 3) in the above list, in other words, expanding our business with such OEM Buyers route.

We have seriously reviewed such situation to find out one practical settlement we should start to overcome such situation by strengthening our connection with those customers who are looking for Air Conditioning equipments of lower-cost, originated in Chinese manufacturing force.

As a matter of facts, we have a contact in Ningbo, China, so far as the Sakura R&D Center for sometime so far but have a certain difficulty to fully convey such business benefit to all of those new customers in global markets up to now.

Under the current situation that a number of Chinese manufacturers have aggressively been expanding their own business in overseas markets, through their own capacity of contacting those customers by themselves, and to balance the positive and negative factors of doing business with overseas customers under such situation, especially staying only in Japanese office as a trader, we, Sakura Group, have decided to establish one New Company in China to run an Integrated Operation of Development, Production and Marketing on those Air Conditioning equipments.

The Operation Concept of such New Company is: To combine the technique of Japanese Quality Control, assurance of Product Reliability, a service with Customer-First mentality, and top of those, a design and quality of European-taste, to aim fusing them equally altogether.

The expected Roles and Benefits of such New Company shall be:
1) To raise Cost-Performance of the Products.
2) Unique/most exclusive design, Assurance of Hi-quality by own Development and Production Control, Quality Control procedure. Satisfactory Product Catalogs available being backed up with technology materials.
3) Well-controlled Marketing Policy in the overseas market places under the policy of “Customer First”.
4) Flexible payment terms may be applied by the evaluation of activities and evaluation to it by the third party.
5) Much wider Product range: for example, Smart Sakura System Solution
6) Speedy product development by numbers of experienced technicians of the Air Conditioner equipments field being associated with.
7) Possible to extend timely Presentation and Demonstration on the products according to customers’ requirement from time to time.
8) The New Company will build an E-Shop (commerce) at the same time to accept any sell-in activities from each place of the world will be welcomed.
For example: Wine, Furniture, Food staff.

2015年 Sakura の新たな挑戦

Sakura Air Conditionerがスタートして既に15年を経過し、今日では世界中に数多くの代理店(distributor)・顧客(customer)を設け益々販路を広げています。

現在、弊社の取引先は大別すると
1) Sakura Distributor
2) Sakura Spot Buyer
3) OEM Buyerの3種類に分かれます
勿論、全てのお客様が我々の貴重な財産で、お客様と共に発展していく事を弊社の最大の企業方針としています、また今後もこの方針は変わりません。

ただこうした中で、今一つ実績が積みあがらない分野が上記の分類3) OEM customerの開拓です。
特に、ローコストの中国製・空調製品を目指す顧客の取り込みに課題が有ると考えその対応策を考慮してきました。
確かに、弊社は中国・寧波市にSakura R&D Centerを有してきましたが、新規の顧客に於いてはその存在のメリットはそう多くは感じられていませんでした。

中国国内の多くの企業が積極的に中国製品の海外展開している現状、日本に本社を置いて中国製品の海外展開を行うメリット・デメリットを考慮し、Sakura Groupとして新たに中国に開発・生産・販売の全てを一貫して行える新会社を設立する事を決定致しました。
新会社のconceptはcombination of Japanese Quality Control, Reliability, Customer First Service plus European Quality Elegant Design and Taste です。これらが唯一融合して行われる会社を目指す事です。

新会社の役割とメリット:
1) 価格面での競争力の強化
2) 独自の開発によるユニーク且つ独占的デザイン・高品質・徹底した生産・品質管理・関連資料(manual)の充実
3) Customer First の方針のもと海外市場での統制のとれたmarketing policy

6) 経験豊富な空調技術者を多数有し、市場のニーズに即対応したスピーデイーな製品の開発。
過去にもニッチ製品の開発には多くの実績を持っています。
7) Presentation, Demonstrationは適時顧客の要望に応える方法で実施可能。
8) 新会社では中国国内にて E-Shop (commerce) を同時に立ち上げます。ここでは世界各地からの売込みを歓迎いたします。
例えば、ワイン、家具、食品、等々
現在設立に向け、諸々の手続きを進めており、正式な社名・組織図が定まり次第お知らせいたします。
